You may remember THIS adorable couple who got married a couple of weeks ago. I met Sarahbeth (SB, as her friends call her) and her mother ten months ago, and knew we would hit it off right away. Her style and what she wanted for her wedding would be any brides dream, and her mom was such a doll. As we began working on the wedding I found out her soon to be mother-in-law, Laura,  would need some help with the rehearsal dinner. Since Laura lived in Houston, and would only be able to get to Tulsa a couple of times before the big evening, I jumped right in and was more than happy to help. Can I just tell you how wonderful Laura was. She was such a delight to be around, and when I met her daughter Natalie she was just as wonderful! The two knew they wanted something fun but formal and we settled on the color orange! Sara, and her team, at THE INVITING PLACE helped us find the perfect invitation and it was love at first sight. We designed custom menus to match the invitations, and BETSY DUNLAP‘s hand calligraphy escort cards were the final touch. Laura had a feeling happy tears would be shed, so we created custom “Dry Those Happy Tears” kleenex packages for the ladies. We placed the escort cards on a bed of orange carnations, designed by the fabulous THE FRENCH BOUQUET TULSA. When the ballroom doors at SOUTHERN HILLS COUNTRY CLUB were opened the room was set and looked stunning. The ombre floral piece on the mantle was the centerpiece for the room, and floral and pillar candle centerpieces were the icing on the cake. The guests had a wonderful three course meal with dessert trio as the final piece before beginning toasts to the happy couple. They also played THIS in place of a traditional picture slideshow shot by WALT BEAZLEY. Thank you Sarahbeth, Taylor, Laura and Ric for allowing us to be such a fun part of your rehearsal dinner. A big thank you also goes out to The Inviting Place, Betsy Dunlap, The French Bouquet, Southern Hills Country Club and Walt Beazley of James Walton Photography for all of your services!
